One of the most common engagement ring styles these days is the pave “halo” style e-ring. Â The typical halo engagement ring setting features a pave studded frame that hugs the contour of the center stone. Â This look is great for two reasons.
Firstly, it instantly adds about 3 millimeters to the diameter of the diamond. Â This might not sound like a lot, but consider that a 1 carat round diamond is about 6.3-6.5mm across and a 3 carat round diamond is about 9mm across. Â That’s quite an upgrade in size!
