The last couple of weeks, we’ve focused on some larger round diamonds. This week, I found a great princess cut for under $2,000. Here is a beautiful 0.70ct princess cut. This is a well cut diamond, that will be bright and 100% eye-clean. You can combine this with a beautiful setting and still come in under $2,500.

I’m looking to purchase an egagement ring within 2 to 4 weeks. My budget is $3,000 to $4,000 total, and I’m thinking about this setting in yellow gold (or the six-prong version):

Q&A: Ira, “You totally changed my mind” about buying a diamond!

My budget is $10k including a platinum band, so I think that means about $9k for the rock. Only requirements are round cut, no visible flaws, and (maybe weirdly) I’d like to not go over 1.5 carats.

I am absolutely open to any thoughts and ideas you may have as my diamond and jewelry knowledge is certainly limitied.
I am looking at a side stone setting and a 3 stone and will give a sample setting link from jamesallen. I am trying to weigh the importance of colr, clarity and cut in the emerad shape.
