Q: Tried shopping in stores for round diamond stud earrings of tcw 0.6 to 0.8, but did not like what I saw for the price. Looking at 3 prong martini setting stud with screw backs in white gold. Typically buy F to G color because other starts to look yellow to me. Would like very good clarity VS1 or better and a well matched pair that are ideal cut. It is important that they sparkle. Budget is around a max of $1500. Let me know if you can help with online options like Blue Nile or James Allen with legitimate return policies if I do not like what they send.

Q: Hi Ira, I’m planning to propose in a week and I need your help to find the largest eye clear round cut diamond for $1800 or less. I’ve looked at a few on jamesallen.com but haven’t been able to determine if they are eye clear from the virtual loop images. Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
