Q&A: Building a Three-Stone Ring from James Allen. Needs Help with Two of the Three Stones.

By

Q: Hello ^_^

Would you be able to confirm that this stone will be eye clean.  I have located the inclusion with the virtual loupe but I’m not an expert. The stone was $470 being 0.37ct, colour I, SI2.

Would you be able to recommend another stone to me 0.33-0.34ct. I want it to match with my 0.34ct, colour I, Vs2, ideal cut stone.

A: Yes, that stone definitely looks eye clean. Here’s one for you:

They didn’t have any SI2s.

Q: I was looking at that stone too.

Here are two stones I’ve bought from james allen so far:

I’m building a 3 stone ring…

These are the other stones I had in mind, but can’t decide which is best matched to the two above

I don’t want to spend more than $450 on my last stone if possible.

A: I’m glad you sent me the links to the 1st two stones you bought. After seeing those stones, I even more recommend the stone I sent you yesterday. Out of the three on the table now (mine, plus the two you sent below), it’s the best match.

1) It’s the same color

2) It has the same make as the two you already bought. The other two have 58% tables, while the two you bought (and the one I recommended) both have tables closer to 55-56%. it’s a slightly different look.

Q: Thank you for the advice. They’ve added more stones. Will asko your opinion again once I get the enlarged images

A: sounds great!

Q: Here is another potential stone. Colour H, SI2, ideal and $410!
