I know what you’re thinking: in my article about Asscher Cut Diamonds and Emerald Cut Diamonds, I recommend buying only VS2 clarity or higher clarity grades with Step Cuts. This SI2 Clarity Grade is two grades lower than VS2, yet its face is still cleaner than most of the VS2s and SI1s I saw on James Allen with their Virtual Loupe. That makes this stone a unique bargain.

Hi Ryan. It’s cheap only because of its clarity. It’s not hard to believe that the SI2 lies in such a way in this stone that it’s not visible face-up. It happens all the time.
