Best Diamond for $6000: 1.54 Carat I Color I1 Clarity Eye Clean Round Brilliant
ByFor my next few Daily Diamond Recommendations, I decided to go about looking for the perfect diamond the way many consumers do. First, you decide how much you want to spend, and only then do you try to fit a diamond’s parameters to find the best possible diamond for your budget. For my first diamond in this series, I decided to try out a budget of $6000.
What I found was a gem of a diamond. Here’s the Stats (or click here for a copy of the GIA Certificate):
Measurements: 7.36*7.44*4.56
Diamond Cut: Very Good
Diamond Polish: Very Good
Diamond Symmetry: Very Good
Depth: 61.6%
Table: 59%
Carats: 1.54
Diamond Price: $5780
The small lines you see in the picture above will be totally invisible to the naked eye. Keep in mind that this diamond only measures 7.36 millimeters across in diameter. That’s not even a full centimeter!
Also, it happens to be that this diamond received an unlucky grade. You could send this diamond back to the GIA, and probably have a decent chance of receiving an SI2. This inclusion pattern is very borderline.
